Prior to using a made to stock inventory system, Dell never had a need for planning processes. After deciding to transition from a made to order to a made to stock system, they needed a partner to help them learn about S&OP, gain buy-in throughout the organization, and stand up the processes
Dell brought in IBP2 as strategic partners. They worked together to stand up the most impactful S&OP meetings first. With successful Executive S&OP meetings underway, it paved the way for cross-functional collaboration and widespread adoption across the organization
